BP CEO Bob Dudley to retire early next year

Bob Dudley will step down from CEO of BP in February, after serving in the role since 2010. Dudley was appointed to the role following the Deepwater Horizon disaster occurred in the Gulf of Mexico in April 2010. Dudley will be replaced by Bernard Looney, who has served as head of the company’s exploration and production business since 2016.
