Goldman Sachs picks Mazars to audit its European operations

Posted by Aktis Team on 20 May 2019

Accounting firm Mazars will become the new European auditor of Goldman Sachs from 2021. Goldman, who has been audited by PwC for almost one-hundred years, was forced to choose a new auditor given the new rotation rules implemented by the European Union in 2016. The other Big Four firms were not considered by Goldman as they all provide consulting advice to the bank. PwC will remain the bank’s group auditor.
