Martin Gilbert to leave Standard Life Aberdeen

Posted by Aktis Team on 2 October 2019

Martin Gilbert will step down from the role of Vice Chair at Standard Life Aberdeen next year. Gilbert founded Aberdeen Asset Management 25 years ago and played an important role in the merger with Standard Life in 2017. The departure is not abrupt, as he has already stepped down as Co-CEO and from January he will reduce his commitment to 4 days a week, which will be accompanied by a 20% pay cut.
